SIRLOIN TRI TIP
Description:
They are boneless All Natural Black Angus Kansas Grass Fed finished on grain for 30 days, Naturally Aged & Marbled to Perfection. Anti-biotic and hormone free.
Packaging:
Three vacuum packed Sirloin Tip roasts per box between 2 and 2.2 lbs ea.
Preparation:
CROCK POT:
Ingredients:
1Tri Tip Roast
1/2 cup Water
1 cup red wine
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons olive oil
2teaspoons minced garlic
Instructions
Sear roast in olive oil lined hot skillet for a few minutes each side until browned.
Drizzle olive oil in the bottom of the crock pot and on top of roast. Add roast. Pour water and wine around roast. Sprinkle salt, pepper and garlic on and around roast. Heat on high for 1 hour then on low for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until internal temperature reaches 160F).
ON GRILL: Thaw in refrigerator. Preheat grill. Season to taste then sear each side on high heat. Lower heat and continue to grill turning occasionally approximately 30 - 45 minutes depending on desired doneness. This is a large thick piece of meat so must be cooked slowly as not to overcook the surface of the meat. Slice thinly perpendicular to the grain of the meat and serve. Great served with corn on the cob and fresh sliced tomatoes. This product is delicious when marinated for a day or two in your favorite marinade turning twice a day.
